NEVADA DMV LICENSE
SUSPENSION HEARINGS FOR DUI

Las Vegas DMV HearingAn experienced Las Vegas DUI attorney specializing in DUI defense has a fairly good chance of vacating your driver's license suspension and getting your driving privileges reinstated. However, he can do nothing if a request has not been forwarded to the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles within seven (7) days of the arrest. The formal request should be made, if at all possible, by a lawyer. If you have not yet retained an attorney, you should contact the DMV yourself and make the request:

Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles
555 Wright Way
Carson City, NV 89711
(775) 684-4368
(877) 368-7828

You will need to provide the following information:

  • Driver's license number
  • Nevada license plate number
  • Vehicle identification number (VIN)
  • Current proof of insurance

You may be required to submit a formal "Hearing Request" form, and should do so in any event to be safe. This form can be downloaded (PDF) here: Hearing Request Form

The hearing will be conducted at the DMV's Office of Administrative Hearings:

DMV Office of Administrative Hearings
2701 E. Sahara Avenue
Las Vegas, Nevada
(702) 486-4940
